The RealMedia Plug-in will work with both FrontPage 97 and FrontPage 98. It is not compatible with earlier versions of FrontPage.
If the RealMedia Content option is not shown in the WebBot Component list, access the FrontPage Explorer. Click on Tools, then choose Recalculate Hyperlinks. This should refresh the BotCache and allow the RealMedia Content option to be seen.
FrontPage shows a security warning dialog box if the realbot.dll has not been installed into the FrontPage BotCache folder. When the dialog box appears, continue with the installation of the file. The file is a component of the RealMedia Plug-in and is not harmful to the system.
When creating a page with an embedded RealVideo plug-in, one of the selected controls must be an Image Window. In the controls option list there are three options which do not have an Image Window in the control set. These options are intended for audio content only. If your content has video, be sure to choose one of the control sets that includes an Image Window.
