Solution: To use the Thomson/RCA Lyra Player with RealJukebox 2, in addition to the RealJukebox system requirements you must have:

• A parallel or USB port connection
• Thomson/RCA Lyra CompactFlash external drive
• Thomson/RCA Lyra Player

Note: Non-Lyra CompactFlash card readers are not supported.

2. How do I install the Thomson/RCA Lyra Player plug-in for RealJukebox 2?

Solution: Before RealJukebox 2 can access your Thomson/RCA Lyra Player, you must install the device plug-in. RealJukebox 2 may need to download the plug-in from the RealNetworks website if one is not already installed on your computer. You must be connected to the Internet in order for RealJukebox 2 to download plug-ins.

The following steps guide you through the installation process.

1. Connect your Thomson/RCA Lyra CompactFlash external drive to the computer.
2. Install the Latest Lyra driver software from the Lyra download site.
3. Start RealJukebox 2.
4. Click the Help Menu and choose Check for Update.
5. Choose the Thomson/RCA Lyra Player from the list.
6. Click the Get It Now button.

Note: The device drivers needed to run the Thomson/RCA Lyra Player with RealJukebox do not install with the Thomson/RCA Lyra Player plug-in. We strongly recommend installing the latest drivers from the Lyra download site

How do I transfer songs to my Thomson/RCA Lyra Player?

Solution: Using the following steps, select the desired songs and then transfer them from RealJukebox 2 to your Thomson/RCA Lyra Player:

1. Connect the Thomson/RCA Lyra Player to your computer.
2. Turn the Thomson/RCA Lyra Player on.
3. Start RealJukebox 2.
4. Click the Devices button on the Navigation Bar.
5. Double-click the Thomson/RCA Lyra Player.
6. Click the Music Library.
7. Click the Add Tracks button on the right.
8. Choose songs from the Master Library or the Playlists in the Browse dialog box.
   -Use Shift-click to select a range of songs.
   -Use Ctrl-Click to select several individual songs.
9. Click the Add Tracks button.
10. Click the Close button when you are done choosing songs.
11. Click the Begin Transfer button on the right to being transferring your tracks.

Note: Tracks labeled "Will Not Fit" will not transfer. This is because there is not enough space left on the portable device for the song.

RealJukebox will transfer the songs you have selected, displaying a progress bar in the Transfer Status area.
