To alert RealNetworks of a potential security-related problem while using Helix Server, please send an e-mail message to Helix Customer Support and include the phrase "Security Issue" in the Brief Description of the problem field.

Additionally, please note the following in the Detailed Problem Description section:

  • A report of how you found the problem
  • How it can be reproduced
  • Versioning information of all software involved
  • Your contact information, including phone & e-mail address

Please note that as part of our validating of your e-mail address, you will receive an automatic e-mail response. This should not be considered an answer from us. If you do not receive this response, the e-mail address you provided in the post is incorrect, and you should re-submit with the correct e-mail address.

Once RealNetworks is aware of a security incident, we work as quickly as possible to find the cause, and develop a solution. These solutions, regardless of whether they are a patch, a configuration change, or other workaround, will be made available from this site.
