Quick Start

RealPlayer Plus 4.0 is installed in the C:\Real\PlayPlus folder, unless you specify otherwise. The installation also installs several system files into the C:\Windows\System folder on your hard drive.

Note: For a complete list of the files that are installed, refer to the Installation Details.

  1. Download the installer.

  2. When prompted, choose Save to Disk and specify a temporary folder for the RealPlayer Plus installation program. Be sure to note where you save it. Please see the FAQ on how to download the Player if you have problems downloading.

  3. Double-click the installer icon. The RealPlayer Plus installation begins. Follow the on-screen instructions

When the installation is complete, a shortcut for RealPlayer Plus 4.0 is added to your Windows 95 or Windows NT desktop.

  • RAOCX32.DLL (if you installed the RealPlayer ActiveX Controls for Internet Explorer)

In the C:\Windows\Help folder:

  • RVPLAYER.HLP

If you installed the RealPlayer Plug-In, then in the Plug-in folder of your browser:

  • NPRA32.DLL
