System and Software Requirements

RealVideo Encoder 1.0 is designed to work in the Windows 95 and Windows NT 3.51 or later environments. The following tables explain which hardware is required for specific encoder uses.

System Requirements for Encoding:

RAM	16 MB	32 MB
Hard Disk Space (software)	4 MB	4 MB
Hard Disk Space (data)	500 MB	1 GB
Color Display	16-bit	24-bit (TrueColor)
Video Capture Card (not required to encode an AVI or QuickTime file)	any card that is compatible with Video for Windows Live Encoding requires Osprey 100 or 1000 video capture card by Multimedia Access
Sound Card	16-bit sound card

Additional System Requirements for Delivering Live Content:

Minimum	Recommended
Single Processor, 200 MHz Pentium	Dual Processor, Pentium Pro
